Eiger Design GmbH expands partner base to support South East Asia

Unterseen, Switzerland – September 18th, Eiger Design GmbH, an established supplier of innovative functional circuit test (FCT) solutions to the electronics test market, today announced CNN Sdn Bhd  an authorised distributor of electronic test equipment, as its key channel partner for demand creation and sales of the J-Testr, J-Testr+, J-RF and J-Mount product ranges in South East Asia (SEA).

CNN’s experience in the fields of Test & Measurement (T&M) and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) products has enabled the company to become a key supplier to many major OEMs throughout the region. SEA has seen sustained steady growth in electronics manufacturing and this trend is forecast to continue.

Wayne Morgan, Business Development Manager at Eiger Design said “The SEA region provides another fantastic market for J-Testr products and we very quickly realised that CNN, with a focus on technical support as a core competency, was the right regional partner for Eiger Design”.

CNN was founded by highly experienced engineers with the aim of providing targeted hardware and software solutions for customers.  Similarly, Eiger Design was established by engineers to develop innovative test solutions that solved many of the issues that they had previously encountered during product development and production test.

Eiger Design’s J-Testr range offers a highly configurable and easily portable test bench solution for FCT with minimal set up and strip down time.  Recommended for both full scale production and initial “protected power-up” of prototype PCBAs, J-Testr provides added safety features that can’t be implemented with traditional modular test systems employing multiple interconnecting communications cables.

CNN Sdn Bhd was formed in 1990 by RD engineers from a multi-national company specializing in RF communication testing. The objective of the company is to provide Test and Measurement expertise and custom integration solutions, so required by the electronics industry today.

CNN Sdn Bhd has through the years expanded into Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Bangkok (Thailand) and Singapore whilst its Penang office has relocated from 900 sq. ft. office space to a new spacious 6,000 sq ft. office. This new office which is situated at Kompleks Sri Sungai Nibong, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, has a workforce of 18 personnel to meet the ever increasing demand of our customers.
